What is the effect of Diminazene Aceturate and how to use it?
Diminazene Aceturate belongs to the aromatic amididines, which is a traditionally used broad-spectrum anti-blood protozoan. For example, it has a therapeutic effect on livestock piriformis, trypanosoma and anaplasma, but its preventive effect is poor. The anti-insect effect of aromatic diamidines is related to the interference with the aerobic glycolysis and DNA synthesis of insects. These drugs can cause hypoglycemia in the host. The aerobic glycolysis of piriformis and trypanosomes depends on the host's glucose. It is said that the trypanokilling effect of these drugs depends on its inhibitory effect on trypanosomal aerobic glycolysis and nuclear protein denaturation.

How to use?
(1) Bovine Diminazene Aceturate has different effects on different species of Pyricularia. For example, for cattle infected with Babesia bovis, the dose as low as 0.5mg/kg is effective; the treatment dose of 3.5mg/kg, the worm disappears after 24 hours, the body temperature returns to normal, and the curative effect is 100%. This product has poor effect on Babesia diversiformis and Babesia bovis. After 3 days of treatment, there are still worms in the blood, but the clinical symptoms have been significantly improved, such as lowering elevated body temperature and reducing mortality. Diminazene Aceturate has a poor preventive effect on most pyriformes.
(2) Horse Diminazene Aceturate has a good effect on Babesia horsebow, which can completely remove the worms, but it has a poor effect on Babesia horseba.
(3) Dogs and cats can significantly eliminate the clinical symptoms caused by Babesia canis.

What is the notice?
(1)Diminazene Aceturate is more toxic and has a narrow safety range. The treatment dose sometimes has adverse reactions, but it can usually be withstood by itself. The injection is more irritating to local tissues, and the reaction of horses is more serious than that of cattle, so large doses should be injected deep into the muscle.
(2)Camels are sensitive to this product, so it is better not to use it; horses are more sensitive, so be cautious when using large doses; buffaloes are more sensitive than cattle, especially when used continuously, they are prone to toxic reactions.
(3)Large doses can reduce the milk production of dairy cows.

Diminazene Aceturate is a traditional medicine for the prevention and treatment of livestock protozoal diseases. It has a small safety range and large toxic and side effects.
The number and interval of medicines.
Canine Diminazene Aceturate poisoning, the earliest onset, the heaviest, and the first to die are purebred dogs imported directly from abroad, which reminds purebred dogs to be more careful in clinical selection and medication. There is no specific detoxification method for Diminazene Aceturate poisoning. Symptomatic and supportive therapies such as rehydration, detoxification, detoxification, liver protection, pain relief, and spasmolysis were used in the rescue, and certain therapeutic effects were achieved.
